The Hiro guild was created to give back knowledge and resources to increase the socio economic status of residents in inner city communities. the organization hopes to start with 3 primary workshops before expanding.
-Motivational Mondays: a workshop/networking session that will help people interested in starting their own business take their first steps. the session will have different topics every Monday. different topics from filing LLC paperwork, to coming up with a logo, to strategies for financing your business and marketing. The idea is to provide a place where different entrepreneurs at different stages in their journey can meet, exchange information, and energy.
-Therapy Thursdays: a workshop/session featuring a licensed therapist that will cover a variety of mental health topics each and every Thursday. the idea is to provide a place that can educate our community on different mental health tips. one session may be about anxiety, how to recognize it, how to cop and deal with it, how to better understand anxiety and its effects. another session may be discussing emotional traumas and tips to helping cope, etc. most people do not have access to mental health resources and this will be the first program of its kind.
Aside from workshop the Hiro Guild will donate and provide different resources to other programs and minority businesses that qualify.
